Andrena was founded by the Gallés family. Its main objective is to improve the functions and resilience of freshwater ecosystems, by means of science-based ecological restoration.

We work with organizations and scientists focused on freshwater ecology.

We aim to act as an enzyme: promoting the connections between specialist of different areas, in order to cause beneficial reactions.

Andrena is a genus of pollinating bees. It is a symbol of the  interdependence of all life on Earth.
